  Been out since 1992 but always got invited by my family. This year not a peep from them. So glad too just cannot stomach the religion any longer!

  so if there was no promise of a "reward" for faithfulness...no paradise...no eternal life etc, how many witnesses would stick with the "faith"?.

  sure, the reward might be "making god happy", but he supposedly holds out the paradise promise with eternal life as an incentive right?.

  before anyone says, that's what satans challenge regarding job was about, just think.

  To those who attended, attendance up or down at your memorial?

  My younger brother gave the Memorial Talk and invited me to attend. Had left the organization in 1992 when disfellowshipped. Attendance at his Hall for the Memorial used to be in 200+ this year was only 155.
